Saturday morning group bike rides

Saturday 10am group bike rides from Proteus bike shop in North College Park.  This ride is an intermediate exercise/social ride -- we usually ride for about 2 hours through the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center and Patuxent wildlife refuge, a total distance of about 22 miles.

The pace is moderate, and riders of all abilities are welcome.  There are usually there are between 5 and 15 riders, and sometimes we'll split into groups of faster and slower pace.  But the ride leader always stays at the back in case anybody has a problem or flat tire, and no one is dropped of left behind.

Often, we'll stop for lunch after the ride, at the New Deal Cafe in Greenbelt, or Fishnet Restaurant in Berwyn Heights.
