Good Friday Burial of Christ

Join the Franciscan friars of the Holy Land on Good Friday for the Burial of Christ, similar to the one held at the Holy Sepluchre in Jerusalem. Relive the moments from Calvary to the Tomb.

The body of Christ
(similar to that on a crucifix) will be carried down from the Mount Calvary
altar of the historic monastery, processed through the church to the anointing stone. It will be anointed with
oil and then placed in the tomb (a full size replicas of the one in Jerusalem) and the door slammed shut.

The procession will be accompanied by music by the Ron Freeman Chorale, Scripture and reflection. All are welcome.
