Bishop to celebrate new campus minstry

The Right Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde, Episcopal Bishop of Washington,
will celebrate a new campus ministry in ceremonies at 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 19,
at Memorial Chapel on the University of Maryland campus. She will install the
Rev. Otis Gaddis II, who has been appointed the new minister for the Episcopal
Chaplaincy.

The chaplaincy currently hosts three spiritual gatherings: a
Sunday evening Episcopal service, and affirming LGBT spiritual community, Out in
the Church, and a meditation and contemplation spiritually community, Ancient
Spiritual Practices.

The celebration in the Memorial Chapel is free and
open to the public. A free reception will follow at St. Andrew's Episcopal
Church, 4512 College Ave. in College Park.
