A 23-year-old Severn man was found hiding inside a laundry hamper by a family member of the homeowner after the homeowner had moved out earlier in the day. The man attempted to flee, but the family member was able to keep him inside the Ellicott City home until police arrived and arrested the man, charging him with burglary.
