Week in Review: Turgeon, the Varsity and Comfort Zone

The past week was another big one in College Park news.

On Monday night, news broke that was selected to succeed the legendary Gary Williams as the head coach of the University of Maryland men's basketball team. Turgeon to the public at a press conference Wednesday, where he shared his enthusiasm for Maryland basketball to a room packed with sports writers, fans and former players. 

Patch took a tour of one of College Park's new ultra-luxurious student apartment complexes, the Varsity. Watch our video . 

Finally, another round of legal wrangling over the fate of , College Park's variety and/or sex store, took place in Upper Marlboro Wednesday night. The county’s Board of Appeals will now await written briefs from both sides of College Park's most provocative case.
