A look back at the week of April 24.

Another week, gone. Where did it go? We'll do our best to recap it for you:

One petition seeks to cap the amount of tax revenue the city can collect. The other attempts to eliminate the distinction between rental properties and owner-occupied properties in the city, which City Attorney Suellen Ferguson said is a clear attack on College Park's controversial rent stabilization law. A near Parking Lot Z on the University of Maryland campus was identified as 21-year-old Adewunmi Omisore Adepegba of Greenbelt. Adepegba, a UMd. student, displayed no visible signs of trauma, and police do not suspect foul play. His cause of death remains unknown.

Patch contributor Shannon Hoffman took another round of amazing photos for this week's Viewfinder. My favorite is the one of the baby chewing on her mother's shirt. See it and other photos .

22-year-old Stephan Weaver, who confessed to his role in the death of UMd. student Justin DeSha-Overcash, to a preliminary trial Friday morning.

In honor of Earth Day, a group of dedicated volunteers turned up in Duvall Field to help restore two of the area's rain gardens. Check out our video of the festivities .
