Viewing for Former Councilman "Jack" Perry Set for Thursday
Former city councilman John E. "Jack" Perry died on Monday morning.
The viewing and burial for former Perry, , have been scheduled for later this week.
The viewing will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at . A Catholic Mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, also at Holy Redeemer. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Washington, D.C. following the mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life Catonsville, Team Perry.
Perry served as a city council member for District 2 from 1979 to 1983 and from 1989 to 2011. He was honored at a ceremony in December for his service, where officials and family members shared stories about Perry. Some photos from that ceremony accompany this post.
