Tree Volunteers Needed in University Park
Help remove English ivy from street trees to keep them healthy and beautiful.
Want to help keep University Park healthy and green?
Volunteer with your neighbors on June 15 from 9:30 a.m. to noon to remove invasive English ivy from local trees.
English ivy damages trees and makes them more susceptible to stress and diseases. Volunteers are meeting at the intersection of Chansory Lane and Wells Parkway on June 15 at 9:30 a.m. and are asked to bring gloves, and pruners and loppers to help with ivy removal. A rain date has been set for June 16.
