Event funds support rescued animals sheltered in College Park. Donations will be accepted for , a cat in need of eye surgery, and Asha, a dog rescued from dog fighting.

Lachman said that even if your dog isn't a fan of water, there are other attractions, including: All Dogs Club Daycare, Spa and Party Zone; A.P.A.W. Veterinary Hospital and Wellness Center; and College Park’s own Pam Townsend will sell signed copies of her dog photo book.

The dive-in takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Lachman reminds dog owners to bring a towel, a $4 entrance fee, and a copy of a recent rabies vaccination. Call 301-277-3717 for more information.
