Saturday: First Annual College Park Book Festival

On Saturday, May 11 from 2-4 p.m. (rain or shine), College Park United Methodist Church will play host to the first annual College Park Book Festival.

Drop by for a chance to meet local authors, participate in a book swap, donate old volumes, and more.

The event will also include crafts for kids and free gifts for those who come dressed as their favorite literary characters.

Several local officials and celebrities—including city councilmembers Fazlul Kabir, Patrick Wojahn, and Stephanie Stullich and City Manager Joe Nagro—are set to participate in the festival as readers.

Saturday's event is sponsored by the College Park Community Library, the College Park Arts Exchange, and the College Park Lions Club.
