Prince George's Could See Severe Thunderstorms Tuesday

Damaging wind gusts, hail, and tornadoes are all possible, the National Weather Service warns.

Prince George's County faces a chance of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes this afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service warns.

The risk is slight, according to forecasters, but some storms may be capable of damaging wind gusts and hail—and a few could produce tornadoes.

Highs this afternoon will be in the upper 80s with a 50 percent chance of rain.
