With the official start of fall just a few days off, why not take this opporunity savor the fruits of summer at the Farmers Market at Maryland?

Come to the Cole Student Activities Building between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. today (Thursday) for a selection of fresh, local fare that includes:

  • Capitol Kettle Corn: Kettle corn made from locally-grown corn
  • Bonaparte Breads: Bread and French pastries
  • Country Vittles from Critter Hill Farm: Meat products
  • Goldilock's Goodies: Gluten-free baked goods
  • Lydia's Fields at Wheatland: Fresh produce
  • Upper Crust Bakery: Freshly baked breads
  • McLeaf's Orchard: Fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Picnic Gourmet Spreads: Gourmet sweet and savory cheese spreads
  • Valencia's Produce: Fresh fruits and vegetables

The market is also hosting a school supply donation drive this week for local high school students. Needed are paper, binders, pens, pencils, notebooks, and non-rolling backpacks.
