NBC Olympics TV Schedule for Monday, Aug. 6

On the menu: track and field, water polo, volleyball, gymnastics, and diving.

Another day, another 18 medal events at London's 2012 Summer Olympics.

The lineup includes track and field, water polo, canoe/kayak, equestrian events, synchronized swimming, beach volleyball, volleyball, gymnastics, and diving.

Early this morning, the U.S. women's field hockey team—including University of Maryland alum and coach Katie O'Donnell—fell to South Africa, 7-0, placing them last in Pool B and ending their Olympic run.

10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Track and Field | Qualifying Round: Coverage of the women's 100m hurdles and 1500m along with the men's 800m; Dawn Harper of the U.S. won gold in the 100m hurdles in 2008.

10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Men's Water Polo | Preliminary Round: United States at Hungary — Four-time Olympian Ryan Bailey leads the U.S. along with Jeff Power, who scored 11 goals at the 2011 Pan Am Games; Hungary vies for fourth-straight gold medal.

11:30 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Canoe/Kayak | Qualifying Heats: men's K-1 and K-2 1000m, men's C-1 1000m and the women's K-4 500m; Team USA includes Casey Eichfeld, Eric Hurd, Jeff Larimer and Carrie Johnson.

12:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Equestrian | Team Jumping Second Round: Veteran riders Beezie Madden and McLain Ward, who were members of the 2008 gold medal team in Beijing, and Rich Fellers lead the United States delegation.

12:45 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.

Synchronized Swimming | Duet Qualifying: Mariya Koroleva and 21-year-old Mary Killman, who won silver at the 2011 Pan Am Games, will compete for the United States; Russia won gold in 2008 Olympics.

1:15 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Men's Beach Volleyball | Quarterfinal Match: The United States has won five of the eight Olympic gold medals since beach volleyball was introduced at the 1996 Games in Atlanta, including a victory in 2008.

3:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. Men's Volleyball | Qualifying Round: United States at Tunisia — United States captured the gold medal in 2008 and is led by captain Clay Stanley, who is a three-time Olympian; Tunisia's last Olympic competition came in 2004. 4:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Track and Field | Qualifying Round: Track and field qualifying rounds including the women's 100m hurdles; U.S. delegation includes defending Olympic gold medalist Dawn Harper and Lolo Jones.

7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Olympic Zone Show | The local athletes from Washington, D.C. competing in the Summer Olympics in London are featured, showcasing how they have fared leading up to the games.

8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Gymnastics, Track & Field, Beach Volleyball, Men's Diving, Cycling | Finals in gymnastics (apparatus), track and field (men's 400m and 400m hurdles; women's pole vault) and cycling; men's springboard diving and beach volleyball.
