Why Go: Each year, my grandmother attempts to explain my family's heritage to me, and each year, our country of origin changes. Sometimes we're German, sometimes French, and occasionally we're even Hungarian. Basically, she has no idea. If your family is similarly clueless as to its background, this event is for you.

Where/When: College Park Aviation Museum, 1985 Corporal Frank Scott Dr., College Park, Md., Friday, 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Why Go: OK, obviously every day is Paper Airplane Day, but on Friday you can test your paper-folding prowess by competing in the Paper Airplane Derby. Prizes will be awarded. 

Pricing: Adults $4, Seniors $3, Chidlren $2

Where/When: Duvall Field, College Park Md., Saturday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Why Go: In honor of Earth Day, volunteers are invited to help fix up two rain gardens, paint and clean up the surrounding area. Lunch will be provided for those who arrive by 11 a.m.

Where/When: Duvall Field, College Park Md., Saturday, 3 - 8 p.m. 

Why Go: After a hard day of saving the environment, enjoy the mellifluous melodies of Ryan Etherton and Weatherstar at a free concert. Food and refreshments will be available.

Where/When: St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 4512 College Ave, College Park, Md., Saturday, 10 a.m. 

Why Go: You didn't egg-hunt yourself out last weekend, did you? Good, because there's more.
