Finding Employment Opportunities in College Park

With unemployment creeping up a tenth of a percent this month, Americans are looking for anything to stay afloat.

Huffington Post and Patches across the country reported last week that the jobs market is looking bad - real bad - in the eyes of Americans.

Economists had anticipated 120,000 private-sector jobs added to the economy. "Instead, negative sentiments that have hovered over the economy for more than three years intensified," HuffPo reported.

June's startling jobs report revealed only 18,000 net new jobs, contributing in part to the rise from the 9.1 to 9.2 percent unemployment rate. The average unemployment duration hit a record 39.9 weeks in June, HuffPo reported.
