Community Awareness: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

That's how many new cases of breast cancer are estimated for this year alone. Almost 40,000 people will die this year due to breast cancer.

These are dire facts put out by the National Cancer Institute, but the most important facts are arguably about prevention, risk factors and screening and testing to catch cancer in its early and treatable stage.
