Happy Hump Day! Here are some pieces of news to get you started:

1. The big news yesterday was two fold. First, embattled County Councilwoman Leslie Johnson at the end of July. Last week she pleaded guilty to witness and evidence tampering in connection with the corruption case against her husband, former County Executive Jack Johnson. Part Two: Her fellow Council members and the current county executive all say .

2. Tuesday, the City Mayor and Council met for a worksession. Check back later today and Thursday for updates on the discussions.

3. Apparently, it's National Fried Chicken Day. Anyone have a local restaurant recommendation to get our friend chicken fill? Don't go crazy on the dessert though, because Thursday is National Strawberry Sundae Day.

4. Today's Featured Facebook Page belongs to Honey Glow Natural Products. According to its info page, the business started as a family hobby that expanded, and now it offers natural products made from honey.
