As the days grow longer, the hours at many local establishments get shorter.

In a town like College Park, the seasons are dictated not by the Gregorian calendar, but by the start and end of semesters at the University of Maryland. As such, a number of area business have adjusted their hours for summer in accordance with the city's newly reduced population.
