Small Businesses Gauge How Local Shoppers Spend Money

Survey open to residents of College Park and surrounding areas.

If there's a method you prefer to get your local business sales news and updates, and if you'd like to see a new event highlighting small businesses -- like a Taste of College Park -- then be sure to respond to the . The deadline is 11:59 p.m. today.

What College Park shops do you frequent the most? How do you find out about sales and specials in our city?

And would you be interested in "Taste of College Park," an event where restaurants around the city would offer free samples?

The (CPNBA), which represents local, independently owned businesses, is asking these questions and more with its online survey. Not only is the organization interested in responses from College Park residents, but residents from Riverdale Park, University Park, Hyattsville and Greenbelt as well.

Respondents who provide contact information are eligible to receive prizes donated from local businesses, like a gift card from . Providing contact information does not automatically sign a respondent up for the CPNBA newsletter.

The survey is open until Monday, Oct. 31.
