New Trial Vendor at Farmers' Market This Sunday

Depending on attendance, the Pennsylvania-based vendor might return in subsequent weeks.

A new vendor will visit the Downtown Farmers Market on Sunday, and depending on attendance, could become a returning vendor, according to the city's economic development coordinator.

Shearer's Mountain Veiw Farm, located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, sells pork, lamb, chicken, cheese, honey and free-range eggs, according to its website. (And yes, the name of the farm is indeed spelled "Veiw.")

Miller Farms recently brought in 600 Rhode Island Red chickens at its Clinton location, and will offer free-range eggs in about two to three weeks, according to its Facebook page on May 18.

Downtown market organizers currently have a "few other vendors in the works," economic development coordinator wrote in an email sent to Patch.

The Downtown Farmers Market is held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays in the parking lot. On Saturdays, a market runs from 7 a.m. to noon at the parking lot.
