Description: Redford's claim to fame is his beautiful coat - his orange and red marbled fur is always the first thing to catch people's eye. "He's a handsome man," said Animal Control Officer Vivian Cooper. "Everyone who sees him says "Oh my God, he's so gorgeous!" Nevertheless, Redford's good looks haven't gone to his head. He's extremely affectionate, and can be something of an attention hog.

Ideal Environment: Redford is agreeable with other cats, but a little shy around dogs, though Cooper notes that he would probably do fine co-existing with a cat-savvy dog.

Bottom Line: Redford is the whole package: His good looks and sweet temperament make him an ideal cat for just about anyone. He is a bit skittish around dogs, but will be happy in a home with other cats.

Note: All animals at the College Park Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, and up to date on their vaccines.
