"Miracle on the Hudson" Heads Through Maryland

The Airbus A320 became famous when its pilot made a miraculously safe landing after colliding with a flock of geese.

The Airbus A320 tied to the "Miracle on the Hudson," will finally be making its way from the East Coast to Charlotte, N.C., and will head through Maryland on its way.

The plane's fuselage at the Carolinas Aviation Museum, after spending the last 18 months in warehouse in Harrison, N.J.

The Miracle on the Hudson became known as such after  Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger made a deft emergency landing in the Hudson River after the plane collided with a flock of geese mid-air in January of 2009. Of the 155 passengers on board, no one was killed, and only one person was seriously injured.
