Stroll through the tranquil environs of the Rio Washingtonian Center while being captivated by the diversity and creativity of artwork. For sale will be the artistic creations of painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers, digital artists, glass, fiber and ceramic artists along with artwork in mixed-media, metal, and wood. Many of these internationally acclaimed artists are represented in major museums and prestigious private collections throughout the world.  Each is selected by a jury of fine art professionals. Artists are available throughout the event so you can engage and interact with the talented creators of your individual pieces, adding inestimable value to your purchases.

9th Annual PVDA Ride for Life-Dancing Horse Challenge & Gala

Where/When: Prince George’s Equestrian Center, Upper Marlboro Maryland;Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Why to go: Benefiting the Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Center, this lyrical blend of dance, music, lights and equestrian prowess is woven into a moving theatrical performance.

Seasonal Selections: In a Jam

Where/When: Riversdale House Museum, 4811 Riverdale Road, Riverdale Park; Sunday, June 24 from noon to 3:30 p.m.

Why to go: The Riversdale Kitchen Guild presents "From the Garden to the Kitchen: Seasonal Selections"

Using produce from the garden and orchard, Guild members demonstrate food ways in the Dependency kitchen. Selections are inspired by the traditional seasonal cycles of a 19th century farm.

Arts on the Waterfront: Kukuwa African Dance Company

Where/When: Bladensburg Waterfront Park, 4601 Annapolis Road, Bladensburg; Sunday, June 24 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Why to go: Join us when the Waterfront springs to life with music and entertainment—jazz, R&B, reggae, dance, blues, rock and a puppet show. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Tonight enjoy the pulsating, energetic and lively African drumming and dance by Kukuwa African Dance Company.

Why to go:  Come out and support Bethany Community Church's annual mission’s team to Andros Island!

Come check out the stuff for sale or sell your own stuff!  We have spots in our parking lot available at a rental price of $15. If you need to rent a table we have those too for an extra $10.

Why to go: Fish and Wildlive Service staff will offer a butterflies program for ages 10+.
