This is a DCBS fundraiser to send the 2011 Battle of the Bands winner to Memphis so be sure to stop by the DCBS booth and show your support!
Music will be performed by Warner Williams, a local Piedmont-style bluesman who was awarded the 2011 NEA National Heritage Fellowship this summer, the DCBS Battle of the Bands Winner, Clarence "The Blues Man" Turner, The DCBS Band featuring talented songstress Ayaba Bey, and Tom Newman Blues Band, a much sought after local guitarist who has performed with such greats as Stanley Turrentine, Roy Ayers, Wilson Pickett, Lloyd Price, and many others. There will also be a jam hosted by the DC Blues Society Jam Master.
