Family Science Night "STEM-ulate Your Mind"

As part of the Prince George’s County Public School system, the Howard B. Owens Science Center emphasizes STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Everyone is invited to visit and participate in a dazzling array of family friendly activities. In the planetarium you will help develop engineering solutions to the little-discussed but important topic of light pollution and then see the sky in its true beauty. Fly to Mars in the Challenger Learning Center, where you can test a Martian wind power system or build a space probe. Experience many other hands on activities in our laboratories and classrooms. Tickets are required for some events and are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
