Photo Gallery: National Night Out in the Neighborhoods

City and county officials, neighborhood watch committee members and representatives from various public safety organizations mingled Tuesday evening as part of , a crime awareness event.

Here are a few shots from some of the neighborhood observations, which included safety discussion, demonstrations and refreshments. Photos from the citywide event at the College Park Aviation Museum will come later today.

Here's how to share:

• Log in to College Park Patch by clicking "log in" at the top right-hand corner of the screen. If you don't have an account already, you'll have to register with Patch using your email address.
• Wednesday, watch for the National Night Out photo gallery to be published on Patch. We might publish several albums for each celebration going on around the city, or one big gallery.
• Go to the National Night Out gallery for your neighborhood.
• Scroll to the bottom of the post and click "add photos and videos."
• A box should pop up. Click the green button that reads "Choose files to upload" and select your photos.
• Click "Start uploading."
• Choose "Edit your new photo" and add a caption. Tell us what was going on in the photo. Be sure to include the correct credit information for who took the photo.
• Don't forget to share the album link with your friends and family members, so they can see themselves on Patch and add their own photos, too.
