Join a holiday shopping ride from shop to D.C.'s Eastern Market and the Downtown Holiday Market. We'll leave from the shop at 10 a.m., and get to Eastern Market around 11:30 a.m. We'll head over to the Downtown Holiday Market after lunch, and return to the shop around 2 p.m., arriving at about 3:30 p.m.
Total distance about 30 miles. We'll go at a moderate pace. We'll ride in groups and no one will be dropped. This is not a supported ride; bring a fare card to bail out on Metro or if you want a shorter ride (bikes are allowed on Metro on weekends). Weather is supposed to be sunny and cool, but not cold. Perfect for a winter shopping ride.
