City, University to Hold Annual Fourth of July Celebration

Will you be there?

Can you smell it?

The Fourth of July weekend is almost here (I know it's Wednesday... Let's think positively) and I can already smell the charcoal grills, the picnic spreads, and the smoky aroma let off by fireworks.

The City of College Park and the University of Maryland are partnering again for the annual Independence Day celebration on Monday. Oldies rock band The Fabulous Hubcaps will perform starting at 7 p.m. and fireworks begin at dark.
