3. On this day in 1944, 15-year-old Anne Frank was captured in Germany by the Nazis in an Amsterdam warehouse. While she stayed in the "secret annex" with her family and other Jews hiding from the Nazis, Anne kept a diary that survived the war. It's certainly worth a read.
