In case you missed it, a front , but not a single bike was stollen. Locals pitched in to guard the store, clean up the glass and board up the window before the store owner even arrived the next morning.

There are a whole lot of television programs this week examining the 9/11 terrorist attack, 10 years after it occurred. .

3. Uncle Sam's Beef?

On this day in 1813, the United States earned its nickname Uncle Sam, thanks to a meat packer named Samuel Wilson. He supplied barrels of beef to the Army during the War of 1812, stamping the barrels with "U.S." for United States, but soldiers started calling the food "Uncle Sam's."

4. Maryland Uniforms

Today's Featured Facebook Page belongs to Maryland Football. A lot of chatter on Twitter includes negative reactions to the team's uniforms unveiled Monday against the University of Miami, but there is a lot of positive feedback on this page. What did you think of the uniforms?
