Beginning Steel Band Class, Mt. Rainier
Start off the new year by learning to play a musical instrument! In a fun, relaxed group setting, learn to play easy tunes on the steel pan, along with an introduction to basic music theory & steel pan cultural history.
Nine Sundays, beginning Jan. 19, 5-7 p.m.—only $80 for all 9 classes!
All instruments provided; no prior musical experience needed; ages 16 & up.

Stand-alone class, but upon completion, potential to play with award-winning PanTones steel band (a component of the non-profit Cultural Academy for Excellence, DC area’s premier steel pan school and home of Positive Vibrations Youth Steel Orchestra)
