75 Pounds of Drugs Collected at UMPD Take-Back Event

The University of Maryland Police Department participated in its Sixth Annual National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Our site collected over 5 large bags weighing over 75 lbs. of unused/expired medications. This national prescription drug take-back initiative again provided a unified opportunity for the public to surrender pharmaceutically dispensed controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement officers for destruction. Thanks to all who participated!
