With over 30 vendors, this Thursday afternoon farmers market in Riverdale Park offers shoppers the option to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as meats, breads, coffee, olive oils and other prepared food items.
Art, beauty products, flower and other items are also available for sale.
It's one of the largest farmers markets in Prince George's County and WIC and other forms of food assistance are accepted at most stands.
Local bands will perform live each week and there are occasional food demonstrations. There is also a model train demonstration weekly.
