THE FESTIVAL - Join the fun at UMD's 1,250 acre campus! Visitors can “Explore Our World” with tours, exhibits and demonstrations.
THE CAMPUS - The university is broken up into six specific areas of exploration, learning and fun: Science and Tech Way, Ag Day Avenue, Arts Alley, Sports and Rec Row, Biz and Society Hill, Terp Town Center.
THE COLLEGE PARK TENT - Visit the City of College Park tent, to talk with the College Park Animal Control Officer, and members of the Animal Welfare Committee. Learn more about animals, both domestic and wild, in our little corner of the world. "We're in the neighborhood."

University of Maryland, College Park is the flagship institution of the University System of Maryland. It is the largest university in both the state of Maryland and the Washington Metropolitan area.
Chartered as the Maryland Agricultural College in 1856, the school originally opened its doors to a total of 34 enrolled students. Today, University of Maryland is regarded as a "public ivy," and is ranked 53rd in the U.S. News and World Report's Best Colleges of 2009.
