Prince George's County has a plan for developing the Greenbelt Metro station parking lot—a large mall, at least two hotels, a million square feet of offices, hundreds of residential units.
Problem is, right now nobody will invest the money into building that plan.
So the county is looking at another plan, involving either the FBI or some other giant employer, with a workforce large enough to take up the entire space.
The North College Park Citizens Association invites you attend our meeting on Thursday, April 12th, at 7:30 p.m., at Davis Hall (corner of 51st Ave. and Indian Lane).
We’ll tell you what we know about the new plan, and we’ll give you an honest comparison of the pluses and minuses of the new plan vs. the old plan.

Bringing the FBI to greenbelt would locate them closer to all their cases.

Thanks for your input. Your tag name says it all.
Why do people create names rather than standing behind their words with their real identities? Perhaps you know already that your opinion isn't worth the time I've given it.

I fully support this endeavor and believe that at the very least the FBI would make a good neighbor, purchase homes, support local business and would by their proximity support a healthier and more a livable communitysupporting family values. At least with them...we know that they won't be hanging out at 4 tunnels and/or tagging our community with gang graffiti.

I am 100% for the FBI coming into the Greenbelt North Core. As Kennis said, they will be good neighbors and also perhaps help lower the crime in the community. Government workers are also good for the economy as they will eat at the surrounding resturants and shop at the local stores.
