Five new officers joined the University of Maryland police forces this week.

Patrick Dykstra, Vincent Deere, David Mead, Sheena Familia and Daniel Moser graduated last week after successfully completing six months of training at the University of Maryland Police Academy.

Vice President for Administrative Affairs Rob Specter was the keynote speaker at the graduation, which was held at the Marriott Inn & Conference Center.
