Traffic Delays Expected for Andrews Air Show
Roads around joint service base could be more congested over the weekend.

Prince George's County officials are telling motorists to expect significant delays on the roads near Joint Base Andrews over the weekend.
It's because of the expected high traffic resulting from the Joint Service Open House and Air Show on Saturday May 19 and Sunday, May 20.
"Be aware and plan ahead for your travel," reads a notice sent out to residents earlier today.
The open house and air show runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
If you are looking to avoid traffic to get to the air show, try Metro, which will be running a shuttle back and forth from the Branch Avenue Metro Station on the Green Line. However, inbound shuttle buses will only run until 1 p.m.

May want to take note the next Airshow at Andrews will be in May 2014 as they have decided every other year for this airshow
