Terps Debut 'Black Ops' Uniforms Against Rival Duke
The black uniforms take their inspiration from military black ops, according to a press release.
The University of Maryland men's basketball team will debut new "Black Ops" uniforms when they take on their biggest rivals, Duke, on Saturday afternoon.
Designed by Under Armour, the so-called ArmourLight uniforms are designed to portray speed, stealth and pride. The black ops design features black jerseys, shorts and shoes with "embossed Maryland flag details and taxi and black ticker tape lacing," according to an Under Armour press release.
"This is more than just a uniform," Under Armour said in a press release, "it is Maryland heritage on the hardwood."
The Terps (3-3 ACC, 15-4 overall) face off against the Blue Devils (3-2 ACC, 16-2 overall) today at 1 p.m. in Durham, NC. The game will be televised on CBS.

Their uniforms looked sharp. Too bad I can't say the same for their shooting.
