No Injuries After Morning House Fire in College Park
Cause was most likely cooking related, though still under investigation.
No one was injured in a morning fire that started in the kitchen of a home at the 3900 block of Metzerott Road, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department said.
The fire started just after 8 a.m., and it took units about five minutes to knock it down, spokesman Mark Brady said.
“More than likely it’s going to be a cooking-type incident,” though the cause is still under investigation, he said.
There was at least one person in the house, Brady said.
