How well do you know College Park restaurants? Well enough to guess the venue from nothing more than a photo of the food?
Today's Guess the Restaurant photo features tuna and salmon sushi (but I found it to be less than magical eatin’, to be honest...)
Where in College Park could you have gotten something like this? Type your guesses in the comments below.
If you think you have a photo that would work well for a Guess the Restaurant feature, email it to Sonia@Patch.com.

This is consistently the stupidest feature on this whole website. For the love of god, stop.

I hear you guys -- but actually this does give a chance for restaurants to feature their best eats. Also you can actually rate current restaurants in our directory. We actually encourage our readers to do this so that there's a directory full of reviews. But thanks for the feedback. I'll keep it in mind.

Not sure where this is from. I know it can't be Hanami because their sushi is always stellar!

PLease!!! This feature is meaningless! It doesn't inform us about anything nor does it rate the place in question. In fact, it's downright annoying. What we need is a blog that RATES existing eateries in CP, reviews new ones, and notifies people regarding closures. I, for one, being a food afficionado and avid cook -- especially when it comes to foreign culinary pursuits, try almost every new place that opens in College Park and judge an eatery on several levels. Thus far, it seems to me that College Park is a culinary wasteland, but there are a few good places to get some decent specialties and new ones are popping up as old places go out of business or shut down due to competition. How many of you out there have noticed how many eateries and shops have closed in recent months/weeks? It seems that I have been discovering them only by chance during my weekly walks in the downtown area. We need a REAL food or restaurant blog on this site, not a "guess what this is" one.

Check out the Shop College Park website or the City's Business Beat newsletter (http://collegeparkmd.gov/EconomicDevelopment/?page_id=2038) for information on the latest openings, closings, and other news.

My family runs a sushi restaurant...kiyoko. We live for student traffic and survive on locals during the summer. The restaurants die due to the failure to understand the traffic of this marketplace.
If I was located in one of the highrises and could only make money for 7 to 8 months of the year... We wouldn't have survived for the part three anda half years.
