A pedestrian and biker trail is coming to College Park soon. The College Park City Council chose a construction company and will break ground on the project, one of the final phases in making the city more walkable, according to a Gazette story.
The fourth phase of the plan will be completed by D&F construction, a Forestville-based company and will cost $1.7 million.
The trail will be three-miles and runs the length of College Park. It was converted from a former electric railway, according to the Gazette story.

I moved here 13 years ago and one of the main attractions for me was the bike path. HOWEVER, I have witnessed more crime on that trolley trail than you can even imagine. I feel safer on the street! Sure hope they rev up the police presence.
