Here we are, two days before the send-off of 2011, but surely we won't be leaving it behind.
I don't know about you, but I tend to tag my years as "the year that X," and then file it away until something reminds me of why that time in my life was so great... or not so great.
For me, there are a few ways I'll tag 2011. First, it's the year I finished my graduate education at the University of Maryland, and second, it's the year that I was adopted by the great City of College Park as the Patch editor.
But what about College Park? What were the truly great, memorable or challenging moments in College Park? What things this year helped to define our city?
Share with Patch what moments over the past year define 2011 in College Park. Write your ideas in the comments, or Tweet @CollegePrkPatch with #2011RemindedMe.
Was it the identification of long-awaited funding from the State Highway Administration that could help the appearance of U.S. Route 1?
Or something else entirely?
